Seed funding for the first year of the project has been provided by Creative Ireland via Waterford City and County Council. This allows us to offer the selected artists free accommodation, meals and local transport during their residency.

Our intention is to partner with other organisations, so that Talamh Nua can become a vibrant and viable facility into the future. We hope to be able to set up special bursaries funded by these partner organisations.
For example, an organisation might offer a yearly scholarship to a climate champion, community artist or changemaker that needs time and space to develop a project that can have a meaningful impact.
So if this resonates with you, or the ethos of your organisation or enterprise then we’d love to hear from you.
